The Rules for Admiral Lake

An Environment Agency Licence is required to fish Admiral Lake.

Anglers must be 18 years or older.

Minimum 42″ Landing net for all carp anglers on Admiral.

An carp cradle with sides must be used by every Angler.

Use only barbless hooks. Unsuitable Rods & Tackle will be confiscated.

2 Rod limit per angler.

One non fishing guest is allowed per angler at £5 per day session or £10 per night session.

You must leave your swim clean and tidy, before the end of your session.

No litter, especially waste nylon, please use the bins provided in the fishery complex.

No lure fishing.

No unattended rods.

No Telescopic Rods on Admiral Lake.

Only Green Fishing Brollies or Bivvies in Fishery Complex.

Fishing is from your numbered swim only.

No keep nets.

All fish must be weighed and photographed safely in the swim in which they are landed.

All fish are the property of Gabriels Fishery and must be returned to the water from where they are caught as quickly and safely as possible.

Any fish that look injured or stressed must be brought to the fishery bait and tackle shops attention.

Any unnatural bait such as Jokers, lures or anything that is unprepared and cannot be easily digested, etc will be confiscated.

No Dogs.

No TVs. You may have a personal radio as long as the volume is kept to a minimum.

No noise after 11pm.

No swimming or bathing.

No open fires. Please use raised BBQ or gas cookers.

No trespassing into adjoining fields or woodland.

Do not climb or damage the trees.

Alcohol in moderation. No Drugs or banned substances.

Anti-Social behaviour against staff or fellow anglers will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to ask you to leave without a refund.

We reserve the right to refuse entry. We will only accept responsible anglers who follow the rules and are respectful of fellow anglers and the environment. We reserve the right to ask anyone not complying with these rules to vacate their swim and leave the property immediately.

The management accepts no responsibility for any death, injury, damage or theft to persons, vehicles or property during your stay.

Any subject not covered by these rules is at the discretion of the management.

All vehicles to be left in designated car park areas.
